    Wellness and Health Promotion and Survivor Advocacy Services brings you the Empowerment Self Defense class!

    Dates: 10/22 6PM-8PM
    Location: Student Wellness Center Room 122

    Through interactive discussion, role-plays, boundary-setting activities and hands-on physical self-defense instruction, participants will learn to set verbal and physical boundaries in all areas of life, ranging from everyday interactions to worst-case scenarios.

    This workshop is trauma-informed and never victim-blaming! Participants are respected as the experts of their own lives and will collaborate with Feminist Self- Defense Founder and workshop facilitator, Rachel Piazza, to find solutions that work for them. Participants can expect to learn how to:
    Recognize red flags
    Identify personal boundaries
    Clearly communicate a boundary
    Avoid unwanted touch
    Reclaim physical control in vulnerable, even intimate positions

    This Feminist Self-Defense workshop is fun, affirming and welcoming to people of all genders, ages and abilities. Reigstration Link in Bio.
